Adventures in Providence, RI & Swansea, MA

It was a little bit of a journey to Providence, I drove from Auburn to Portland, left my car at my parents, took a cab to the bus station, took the bus to Boston (the bus driver wouldn't let me photograph the bus because of TSA, but I did anyway) then jumped on the commuter train to Providence where Peter (my first shoot picked me up and drove me to his house).  I met Peter on e-mail through family friend, Mike Brenan when he was running for Congress. This was my first time meeting in him in real life, although we had many e-mail back and forths, and the first time meeting his wife and adorable daughter, Isabel.  They were very warm and inviting and made me a delicious lunch.

Then, former BPiC intern, Britanny & her new husband Brian, picked me up from Peter's and took me to her place not far away in Swansea.  Brittany was one of my favorite interns, so it was great to catch up and see her on her own.  It's funny to think about, but I haven't been to many interns homes.  I suppose it is a boss/employer relationship, but it hasn't ever felt very formal.  Their place is so super cute I could barely stand it.  They were incredible hosts, feeding and beering me.  And offering me a spot for the night (or two) on their couch.

Then they took me Providence to show me the sights and we sat in on Occupy Providence.  It was great to see meetings in action, signs and the real organization that went behind it.
