Adventurs in NYC-days 1&2, Rock n Roll

I left for the airport after work hoping to arrive in New York in time for Gideon's opening at Steven Harvey.  Due to weather, the flight was delayed (even with the delay, flying is so much better than driving, especially with the LIRR to Penn Station) but got there just before they shut the doors, and then to the after party at 2A where he had more paintings and a projector out the window.

Then to my cousin's house for sleep with an amazing view of the Empire State Building.
On Thursday, woke up got myself organized (and on time thanks to the handy clock tower outside my bedroom window) and headed to MOMA, paid the damn $25 to find the show I wanted to see already came down.  However, the video installation piece about war by Harun Farocki was amazing.  Then grabbed a burger in the back of the Parker Meridien Hotel, a must stop dive burger joint in the most unexpected place.  Then off to visit with Juli who was selling beautiful scarves at Henri Bendel trunk show.  Then a quick stop at my new home, 5M and off to openings in Chelsea and up to midtown for Joe's opening at Heskin Contemporary.
