Adventures in LA, day 3, 4/23- Ojai to Ventura to Ojai to Solvang

Woke up in Ojai to Jack wanting to read books and soft morning light.

 

 Then a walk to the store for breakfast fixings.

 Then back home for James' famous french toast.

Then off to Ventura to Henry's friend's Andrew's house for a little beach action.  James & I relaxed in on the patio, while Henry checked on his distillery of seaweed liquor and had an unfortunate accident with the surf board.

 Then back to Ojai with a stop at a yard sale for jack's new/used sup'd up car.  He wanted to show us his new skate boarding moves before the car was unveiled.

Then, Colin and I kidnapped Moira a little bit against her will for a night away from Jack and some r&r in Solvang, wine country.

First stop in Solvang which is hilarious with the Danish influence, Wandering Dog Wine Bar with a fabulous bartender and great wine (obviously).

Then off to a fabulous farm fresh dinner at Root 246.

Then back to the motel for a late night dip in the hot tub and pool and hopefully a chance at winning the lottery.
