THE GREAT RAFFLE OF 2011-fundraiser #2

Why a raffle?
Through out history the portrait has been commissioned by the wealthy, royalty and the aristocrats. In an effort to
photograph the everyday person and to explore and document how we live and travel as Americans in the 21st century, I am making portraits of all of my Facebook friends in their homes. In return for them letting me into their homes, I will give each person a 10" print. Many of the people I am shooting have never had their portrait made. I also plan to exhibit and publish a book of the project, as well as have exhibit of the work on Facebook.
This project requires extensive and expensive travel, a bunch of film and paper, and time. Since the demise of the economy, the sale of my photographs has also fallen so I am unable to self fund new projects. I am working a day job 3 days a week and photograph, travel, scan, print and update the websites the other five days. I am looking to you to help fund this project. Every little bit helps.

The numbers:
It's hard to estimate exactly, since I will be traveling all over the world, but after shooting 128 people, the ruff budget is $100 per person or $62 , 600. Through grants and the 1st fundraiser, I have reached about 25% of that goal.
Everyone who buys a raffle ticket will be listed on the page of funders and will receive a very special piece of mail art.
